State Senator Rosemary Bayer of West Bloomfield is serving her second term in the Michigan Senate representing District 13, stretching from Commerce Township, Sylvan Lake, Keego Harbor, Orchard Lake, and Walled Lake; through West Bloomfield Township and Novi; down to Northville and Plymouth, and their townships. 

Before pursuing public office, Senator Bayer had a successful career in information technology, first as a computer engineer and later as a business leader.  She co-founded the Michigan Council of Women in Technology, a nonprofit which provides STEM support for girls and women around Michigan.  

Senator Bayer is a long-time resident of Oakland County and currently resides in West Bloomfield with her husband John.
