Senator Paul Wojno is a lifelong resident of Senate District 10. He was born in Detroit, and later moved to the City of Center Line. He is married to his wife Lisa and they have three children.

Paul graduated from Center Line High School, attended Macomb Community College, University of Michigan and received his BA from Wayne State University. In non-elective positions, Paul has worked in Human Resources and Executive Administrator with the City of Warren. Paul served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1997-2002 and was named Democrat of the Year in 1998 for championing issues for veterans, women’s rights, senior citizens, social justice and environmental protection. He was elected Warren City Clerk in 2007 and nominated as one of five outstanding municipal state clerks in 2012.

Paul was elected to the State Senate in 2018. Senator Wojno is Chairman of the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules and appointed to the committees on Local Government, Transportation, Health, Regulatory Affairs, Elections and Civil Rights/Judiciary. In 2019, he was selected Legislator of the Year by the Michigan Library Association. Paul is a participant on the Michigan Attorney General’s Elder Abuse and Human Trafficking Task Force. He is a Caucus member on Firearm Safety, Labor, Aerospace, National Great Lakes, Homelessness and the Detroit Legislative Caucus. Civic involvement includes the American Cancer Society, American Polish Cultural Club, Center Line Grant Foundation, Fraternal Order of Police, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and a VFW Menge Post 6756 Auxiliary member.
