Senator Klinefelt represents Michigan’s 11th Senate District which includes parts of Clinton Township, Detroit, Macomb Township, and all of Eastpointe, Fraser, and Roseville. She has been married to her husband Randy for 38 years and they have 4 children. 

Senator Klinefelt has been in public service for twenty-five years serving on the School Board, City Council, the County Commission, and now in the State Senate.

Senator Klinefelt was President of the MI Association of Counties and was one of two County Commissioners from Michigan serving on the National Association of Counties Board of Directors. She advocates for seniors, veterans, public safety, and infrastructure repair and maintenance.
