Senate Democrats are fighting to keep people in their homes, ensure that families have proper legal recourse when a loved one is harmed or killed by a faulty prescription drug, protect Michigan consumers from being continuously preyed upon at the pump, and safeguard our most vulnerable citizens from being taken advantage of.

·           In the midst of the worst foreclosure crisis since the Great Depression, Senate Democrats have fought to crack down on predatory lenders, increase options for refinancing, and institute a moratorium to keep citizens from losing their homes while they work to get back on their feet.
